Thomas Moulding, of Blackberry, Illinois, died Wednesday night last, September 2, at the residence of his son, Dr Frank C Moulding, in the First ward, aged 80 years. He was a fine sample of the self-made and self-educated man, the "founder of his own fortune" and was able to converse on various questions with a familiarity that indicated a close and intelligent study of his subect. Tender and guileless as a child, yet firm in his convictions of right, he lived to a ripe old age without making an enemy. The wife of Mr Moulding, with whom he had lived 60 years, died last April. He was the father of 15 children, 7 of whom are living, 5 sons and 2 daughters. His sons are JJ Moulding, of Milwaukee, Dr Frank C Moulding, of this city, Thomas and William Moulding, of Lake View, Illinois, and Charles Moulding, living on the old homestead at Blackberry. Mr Moulding's funeral was held at Blackberry, Saturday afternoon last, his remains leaving here by the Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Railway Friday morning.
