They lived on a farm north of Flaxcombe, Saskatchewan, retiring into Kindersley in the fall of 1975

Gladys's Dad, Sidney Poulter, came to Canada in 1907, homesteading in 1909 in Mantario, Saskatchewan area. He came from Birmingham, Warwick, England. That family name comes from the Hampshire County, England. Dora Palmer came to Canada in June 1910, they were married in  Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She came from Ludlow, Shropshire, England. That family name comes from Coventry - Warwick area. They did go back home for a 3 month visit, after 50 yrs. Have found a relative on the Poulter side, that has done the family, & is searching old wills to see if he can go back one giant step. I'm so pleased he is willing to share with me. As not much was known on the family, we didn't ask any questions or even thought to ask???
